Santiago High School

Sitting on land previously used as a commercial lemon grove, Santiago High School still has two symbolic lemon trees planted in front of the administration building.

Santiago High, a California Distinguished School, is one of six comprehensive high schools in the Corona-Norco Unified School District, which is located approximately 45 miles southeast of Los Angeles in the Western section of Riverside County. Corona-Norco Unified School District is currently the 7th largest district in California.

Santiago High School opened its doors in 1995 with under 700 students. Today, close to 4,000 students grace the halls of Santiago High.

“Home of Scholars, Achievers, and Champions”

Santiago’s mascot is the shark. The Bands and Orchestras of Santiago Sharks are simply known as “The B.O.S.S.” and are the Pride of Santiago. Shark Athletics boast many league and CIF championship titles and often have CIF playoff qualifiers in almost every sport. Santiago students have been selected to all-league and all-state teams and receive athletic scholarships to attend prestigious colleges and universities.

Academically, Santiago High maintains the highest scores in the district on California Standardized Tests (CSTs), California High School Exit Exams (CAHSEE), and the Academic Performance Index (API).

Students, parents, and staff take great pride in our Shark family!
